How to Become a Good Web Developer
After a long period of uncertainty with the various IT career options in my mind, I finally settled on Web Development. I am also interested in learning Web Design. I was so afraid of failure and difficulty that I have delayed starting this learning experience for many years. However, now is as good a time as any and I feel ready to embark on an entirely new career path. I am willing to work hard because I know for a fact that this is something that I want to do.
Becoming a Web Developer for me is more than just about being creative and getting money. I mean yes, these things are of-course very important to me, but mainly I would like to get my life back and to work independently. Becoming a Web Developer will enable me to do that. Now I have to look for a school to go to and it is exciting yet scary. I do not have a lot of money or time to devote to training, but I do know that it is something I need to do. So wish me luck!
As far as what it takes to actually become a good Web Developer...well, it takes motivation, passion, drive, creativity, and intelligence. If you are determined to succeed, there is no reason why you cannot do it. You just have to believe in yourself and in all possibilities. Web Development is not as tough as it looks. You just have to devote time and practice it. Work on many projects and go to school. After that, it is all up to you. You do not necessarily have to complete a Bachelors degree in this field. A simple course will do at first. Later you can advance your learning depending on what you are interested in creating.
